Lindsay Nako
Lindsay Nako joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2005. She was selected as one of Northern California Rising Stars for 2009 and 2010 by Law & Politics magazine.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nako served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Claudia Wilken of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and as a law clerk with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Ms. Nako has spoken at the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section Annual CLE Conference, and at the Midwinter Meeting of the Employee Benefits Committee of the ABA’s Labor and Employment Section. In addition, she is a Contributing Author to Sacher, et al., Employee Benefits Law (BNA Books), Chapter 14, “Liability Issues Unique to Welfare Plans” (2007 Supplement); Chapter 11, “ERISA Preemption and Effect on Other Laws” (2008 Supplement); Chapter 4, “Reporting and Disclosure” (2009 Supplement). She is a co-chair of the ABA Labor & Employment Law, Employee Benefits Committee, Reporting & Disclosure Subcommittee, as well as a vice-chair of the ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. She also volunteers as a supervising attorney with the Legal Aid Society – Employment Law Center’s Workers’ Rights Clinic.
Ms. Nako is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Highest Honors and Phi Beta Kappa, and of the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley.
